Trafford residents will have the chance to hear from doctors about the review of hospital services at a series of events being held across the borough.
The events will be held on the following dates:
During the events, healthcare professionals will give a presentation about why services need to change, and will outline the specific clinical areas that are being reviewed. Attendees will then be asked to take part in a workshop to share their views on what they’ve been told, and discuss their experiences in the specific areas, including urgent care, outpatients, day case surgery and orthopaedics.
The new health deal aims to secure safe and sustainable hospital services in Trafford. Redesign work is being driven by three principles - to provide the right care, at the right time, in the right place; to secure cost effective services; and to ensure that services are designed to the highest clinical standards.
Those wanting to attend must book a place by calling NHS Trafford on 0161 873 6008, emailing newhealthdeal@trafford.nhs.uk, or filling in an online booking form at www.surveymonkey.com/s/nhdeventbooking.
