Quality Accounts 2011

Trafford Provider Services has published its first ever Quality Accounts this month, in keeping with new Department of Health requirements.

The publication sets out organisational achievements in clinical effectiveness, patient experience and patient safety as well as priorities for 2011/12.

Significant progress made in staff attendance, infection control and prevention and the implementation of a new clinical leadership framework are among the highlights recognised in the report.

Priorities for 2011/12 include the roll out of Productive Community Services (Releasing Time To Care), the development of a clinical audit strategy, improvements to prevention and management pressure ulcers and a reduction in falls.
