The big feed! National Breastfeeding Awareness Week

For the start of National Breastfeeding Awareness Week, breastfeeding mothers across Trafford are being encouraged to support a special Greater Manchester event called The Big Feed at the Trafford Centre on Monday 20 June at 10.15am.

Also as part of National Breastfeeding Awareness Week, Women that would like more information on breastfeeding can drop-in to an open day at Stretford Children's Centre on Friday 24 June between 1pm and 3pm.

There will be:

  •  An opportunity to meet a qualified breastfeeding specialist & Trafford’s Peer Supporters
  •  An opportunity to meet other breastfeeding mums
  •  A play area & children’s activities for 0-5yrs
  •  A raffle
  •  Refreshments available
