Alcohol Awareness Week will be held on 18 to 22 October, and NHS Trafford is encouraging residents to keep a drink diary for seven days.
You can download a diary from this website. The diary will also tell you how many units are in different types of drink and let you know how many units is the maximum you should have in a week.
This year's Alcohol Awareness Week will focus on alcohol and childhood, which encompasses both the impact of alcohol use by young people, and the impact on young people of alcohol misuse in the home environment.
A series of radio adverts, created by the Greater Manchester Public Health Network, will air throughout the week on Key 103, XFM Manchester, Galaxy FM and Gold Manchester.
NHS Trafford’s health improvement officer and lead for alcohol, Susie Jones, and Safer Trafford will be at Partington Healthy Living Centre from 10am to 4pm on Thursday 21 October, with an information bus for residents.
