It’s going to be even easier to have a healthy lifestyle in Sale Moor and Sale West, thanks to the launch of the Change 4 Life convenience store project.
Norris Road Food Store and New Manor Supermarket have been chosen to take part in the project, aimed at making it easier for residents to get hold of fresh fruit and vegetables.
The project will be launched in the food store on Tuesday 7 September and at the supermarket on Wednesday 8 September, from 2pm to 5pm, when there will be cooking demonstrations, competitions and prize draws, and health professionals will be on hand to offer advice.
Residents can also head down to Sale West Community Centre every Wednesday to take part in free activities designed to help with looking good and feeling great. There are relaxation sessions, belly dancing classes and healthy eating demonstrations, and there are free crèche facilities on site.
