Sexual health service at Trafford Centre for Sexual Health

The Trafford centre for sexual health is a specialist doctor-led service, which is open to people of all ages. 

Services available at the clinics above include:

  • Testing and screening for all sexually transmitted and genital infections 
  • Diagnosis of some conditions within 20 minutes 
  • HIV same day testing on Tuesdays (appointment only) 
  • Screening without a genital examination and treatment for complicated and uncomplicated sexually transmitted infections and other genital conditions 
  • An automated result service 
  • Asymptomatic screening 
  • Hepatitis B vaccinations for people who may be at risk through sexual exposure 
  • Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) following sexual exposure
  • Contraceptive advice 
  • Emergency contraception 
  • Free condoms 
  • Pregnancy testing 
  • Termination of pregnancy information 
  • Reproductive advice and referral 

Specialist services include:

  • Vulval pain assessment
  • Genital herpes suppression therapy
  • Genital skin conditions
  • Psychosexual counselling
