NHS Greater Manchester cluster board

How has the primary care trust (PCT) board changed?

3 May 2011 saw the establishment of the Greater Manchester PCT cluster, which is referred to as NHS Greater Manchester.

NHS Greater Manchester represents the ten primary care trusts in Greater Manchester, including NHS Trafford. To access information about NHS Greater Manchester and to view the board meeting dates and papers, click here.

What does this mean for me?

The new cluster board will meet in public and you will be able to attend them as you would have done your local PCT board meeting.  The NHS Greater Manchester cluster board is accountable for the business of each of the ten PCTs.

Other useful information

The previous individual PCT board meetings will now be replaced by locality boards. Locality boards are in place in all ten PCT areas. Click here to view the NHS Trafford locality board page on this website.
