Local Involvement Networks, or LINks, are independent organisations made up of a mixture of individuals and organisations from the area.
LINks find out what the public wants from its health service and relays that information to the PCT. It is also responsible for monitoring the care provided in the area and reporting its findings back.
The main role of LINks is to help make the care we provide better.
