Trafford Talks Health network and events

NHS Trafford launched the Trafford Talks Health network in January 2010.  The network is made up of hundreds of local people who want to keep up to date with local health issues and to have their say about the services available for people in Trafford.

Anyone can join the network: it’s completely free and you can sign up for as much or as little involvement as you like.  Membership is free of charge and members can cancel their registration at any time. Members' details are treated confidentially and not shared with third party organizations.

Meet our members

Here, two members of the network share their experiences of being involved:

Jane Sanders, from Hale
“I wanted to get involved with the Trafford Talks Health network, because I am interested about health issues in Trafford. I have enjoyed being involved with the workshops and generally talking to other people about their views on local health services.

"I would say to other people to come and get involved with the Trafford Talks Health Network! If you do not voice your opinion you get nowhere and if the NHS does not hear what you have to say, how can they make things better?”

Andrew Pye, from Sale
"I got involved with the network so find out more about healthcare and services in the Trafford area. I wasn’t really sure what to expect, especially before my first meeting, but I’ve found the meetings fun and informative.

“It's nice to have opportunities to listen to other people’s views and experiences from many different walks of life. It is also great to see ideas and proposals us attendees suggest, being put into place. “

When you join, you will receive notification of the latest developments and opportunities to help shape local services, including:
